Photoshop can automatically install fonts from Adobe. Instructions for installing other fonts in OSX can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/lbmslab.org\/lab\/installing-fonts-in-osx\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Create a new Photoshop file (File\/New)\n<ul>\n<li>Name your file &#8220;Font Feelings&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Width: 7.5 inches<\/li>\n<li>Height: 10 inches<\/li>\n<li>Resolution: 200 Pixels\/Inch<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Select the Text tool (The T on the menu)<\/li>\n<li>Select one of your fonts (top left)<\/li>\n<li>Select a spot on your Photoshop file. A new layer will appear in the layer window and a cursor will appear in your document.<\/li>\n<li>Write a word that relates to the font you chose.<\/li>\n<li>Select the layer on the layer window. The layer name will change to the word you wrote.<\/li>\n<li>If you need to edit the word, click the word and fix it, then click the layer name on the layer window.<\/li>\n<li>Change the color, size, and effects on the word. Keep your word readable.<\/li>\n<li>Use the move tool and the transform command to change the size and position of your word.<\/li>\n<li>Repeat for all your fonts.<\/li>\n<li>When you have created a new layer and set of effects for each word, use gradient fill to change the background to an interesting pattern.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Goal: Use Photoshop to create a page of words written in expressive fonts.
